Modeled Bass Amps and Speaker Cabinets
The PX4B comes loaded with ten different bass amp
models that emulate everything from vintage standards to
today's popular models. Each model faithfully reproduces
every sonic detail of the original amp, including warm fat
tube sounds and crystal clear tones. The cabinet effect
models the acoustic characteristics of a variety of speaker
cabinets a real advantage when you're recording direct.
You can even select different speaker sizes (10, 12, 15, and
18 inch), for a wider variety of low-end sounds.

                                                       Amp-like Operation
Ten of the most commonly used modeling amp types can
be quickly accessed by a dedicated dial. Tone control
knobs are also provided for bass, middle, and treble adjustments. This makes editing operations just as easy as if you were using a conventional bass amp. A value dial lets you make immediate changes to the effect types or parameter values, while a Tap button allows you to set delay times and rhythm tempos.

High Quality Modeling Effects
The PX4B is packed with more modeling effects than ever before, including a wide variety of compressor/limiter, modulation and ambient effects. These include a popular filter-type auto wah, a fretless effect that simulates the characteristic sound of a fretless bass, a ring modulation effect that changes in response to your playing, and newly developed reverb effects that produce unique spatial treatments. The PX4B even has an effect that simulates feedback , which is usually only possible during high volume level performances. An analog synth effect reproduces the resonance sound of an analog synth, and a rotary effect changes speed in response to your playing. A preamp effect models active electronics built into your instrument, which changes a passive-signal into an active signal sound.

A Total of 100 Programs
The PX4B is jam packed with 50 preset programs suitable for fingered, slapped, and picked style playing. These include 10 programs created by legendary bassist Stu Hamm. You can create and store 50 of your own user programs, giving you immediate access to a total of 100 programs. Each program can also use up to seven effects simultaneously.

Rhythm Patterns for Practice or for Demo Production
100 rhythm patterns are included, ranging from rock, jazz, funk and blues, to todays dance music. You can practice improvisation or scales using dynamic rhythms that use high quality PCM sound sources. And, up to eight patterns can be chained together to build different rhythm groupings  a great way to produce simple demos or practice tracks.

Phrase Trainer Function to Assist Practicing and Learning
With the PX4B's Phrase Trainer you can record up to 32 seconds of an external source such as a CD or even your own playing. You can then play back the phrase at different speeds, while maintaining the original pitch. And, you can even loop the phrase for repeated playback. This Phrase Trainer function provides a convenient way to check your own playing or learn phrases from CDs or other recorded materials. You can also record a phrase while using an internal rhythm pattern, and then improvise over it.

A Variety of Functions to Enhance your Playing
An AUX IN jack lets you connect a CD player or similar device. You can then use the Bass Canceller function to eliminate the bass from the song you want to play along with. There is also a Key Transpose function which lets you change the pitch up or down in a range of one octave. So, even if a song was recorded with a semitone-dropped tuning, you can play along without having to re-tune your own bass. A semi-transparent LCD is used to ensure that effect and program names and settings are easy to read, making all of the advanced functionality more user friendly. An infrared wireless transmitter is also built-in, so you can concentrate on your playing without being tied down by cables.

Features:
· Compact chromatic tuner, ideal for brass band or orchestra.
· High-precision LCD needle-type meter for stable tuning.
· Wide range of pitch detection covers C1--C8.
· Calibration function supports a variety of concert pitches.
· Sound Out produces a reference tone from the internal speaker.

Wide Range of Pitch Detection
This compact chromatic tuner supports a broad range of C1 (32.70 Hz)--C8 (4186.01 Hz), allowing speedy and high-precision tuning of wind, string, keyboard, and other instruments. This tuner is ideal for tuning even low-register notes containing numerous overtones that are often difficult to tune. A high-sensitivity mic is built-in, allowing easy and accurate tuning of acoustic instruments such as ukuleles. A separately sold CM-100 contact mic can also be used to send the vibrations directly to the tuner for even more accurate tuning.

Ultra-compact body with a "Tilt Slit"
Although the CA-30 is small, thin, and light, don't let its pocket-sized body fool you. The CA-30 packs the functionality needed for tuning a wide range of instruments. From studio to stage, tuning is easy and convenient. The back of the unit includes a unique arc-shaped "tilt slit" that lets you insert a plastic card for use as a handy stand.

High-precision LCD Meter
The meter section uses a LCD needle, combining the accuracy of an LCD with the easy visibility of a needle, and providing a stable display. Additional visual feedback is provided by LEDs that indicate pitch deviation.

Sound Out -- Internal Speaker Provides a Reference Pitch
In addition to visual tuning via meter, the CA-30 can play reference pitches from its internal speaker (Sound Out) for tuning by ear. Each press of the Sound switch will cycle through the A4--Bb4 notes commonly used for tuning wind instruments. Or you can hold down the Sound switch to change the cycle to the semitone intervals from C4 through C5 (one octave), allowing reference pitches for any instrument to be sounded quickly.

Calibration Function
The Calibration function (410--480 Hz) supports a wide range of standard pitches, and can be adjusted in 1 Hz steps for accurate and flexible tuning to any song or key. Thanks to the Memory Backup function, the Calibration and reference pitch are remembered even when the power is turned off. (However, these settings will be initialized when the batteries are replaced.)

Auto Power Off Function
If you leave the unit powered-on for 20 minutes without performing any operation, the Auto Power Off function will turn the power off automatically, avoiding unnecessary battery consumption.

Approximately 100 hours of Continuous Use
Low-power consumption design allows an amazing 100 hours (approximate) of continuous battery life (A4 continuous input, Meter mode, zinc-carbon batteries).

REMS, that’s Resonant structure and Electronic circuit Modeling System, precisely reproduces the complex character and nature of both acoustic and electric instruments as well as electronic circuits in real world environments.
*We got rhythm
Korg didn’t stop at effects. In their quest to make the new PXR4 the ultimate recording tool, they added 55 different rhythm patterns (and 32 metronome patterns) that use high-quality PCM sounds. The patterns range from simple to complex and include Rock, Funk, Big Beat, House, Reggae, Hip-Hop, R & B, Disco, Dance, Jazz and more. You can use a rhythm pattern as a recording guide, or to create the actual rhythm track for you song! At 4.8” wide, 4.25” high and 1.33” deep, the PXR4 really lives up to its name of Pocket Studio. And, since it runs on either AA batteries or an AC adapter, it can travel with you anywhere, always ready to capture your musical ideas at a moment’s notice.

Pitchjack: The Pitchblack Series Tuner That Plugs Directly Into Your Guitar
Amidst the massive wall of tuners at Korg's Winter NAMM 2008 display, the Pitchblack series stole the show, and in that series, the Pitchjack stood out to me the most. It's a chromatic tuner that plugs right into your guitar's input via a built on quarter inch plug.
The Pitchjack embodies many of the same features of the Pitchblack. It includes a flat tuning mode that allows players to tune down up to seven semitones beneath the standard pitch. It also works swimmingly on seven-string guitars and bass guitars.
The Pitchjack's adjustable viewing angle makes it easy to read no matter how much of a labyrinth your guitar's body shape is or how strange the location of the input happens to be.
The Pitchjack also is designed to fold up even more compactly. It accepts a key ring for easy attachment to a gig bag, case, or keychain. It has a built-in LED flashlight for playing on-stage or inside a cave. That's ridiculous. Who would play guitar inside of a cave? Bears, maybe, but that's it.
Nonetheless, the Pitchjack comes in three colors: red, white, and black. I could make some kind of joke about a penguin or zebra with sunburn, but I have a little something called class, people. Look it up in a dictionary. The sweetest part of the deal, though, is the deal itself. You're only looking to drop thirty bones on this piece. Not bad at all.
